The USS Discovery, NCC-1823, has successfully completed 25 weekly missions since her launch on January 22nd. As the namesake of the orbiter Discovery, the vessel has been dedicated to the directives of exploration and discovery, seeking out new life and redefining old relationships in the wake of the Khitomer Accords.

Under the command of Captain Zyxel Lokris, played by Christopher Dickinson, and managed by Dave Smith, the USS Discovery saw seen a shaky start in its shakedown cruise. Engine and computer failures caused the ship to limp to their waypoint at Alpha Centauri before turning around and heading back to Earth. Once at Earth, the Discovery received a Vulcan ambassador and ordered to return him to his homeworld. However, en route, the ambassador was found dead in his quarters, and the Vulcans denied the validity of the ambassador. Upon arriving in the Vulcan system, the Discovery faced off against a new Romulan Nova-class starship which transported off the body, placing the final clue that the entire mission was a hoax from start to finish.

The most recent voyage of the Discovery has her exploring uncharted territory beyond the Klingon Empire. A mysterious spiked spacecraft confronted the Starfleet vessel, warning it of danger and protecting it from a stellar nova before departing just as abruptly. The Discovery then explored an abandoned space station where a parasite fed off the station's power core, killing all of its inhabitants indirectly by hypothermia. The Discovery has begun to explore the planet where the bovine-like Moorvoorians originated, finding unusual and unnatural semi-spherical craters and no traces of civilization.

The USS Discovery flies Wednesday nights at 10pm EST/7pm PST, and is in most critical need of an engineer to keep the ship limping along, but is accepting most positions.
